Faceboook founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg and his wife Priscilla Chan were so proud to share that they're having a baby girl very soon.

Zuckerberg made the big announcement on his Facebook account with a photo of him, his wife Priscilla, and their very cute dog.

His announcement already gained more than a million likes on Facebook and almost 30 thousand shares as of writing.

Zuckerberg also shared that they have trying really hard to have a baby and said that they had three miscarriages along the way.

Priscilla and I have some exciting news: we're expecting a baby girl!

This will be a new chapter in our lives. We've already been so fortunate for the opportunity to touch people's lives around the world -- Cilla as a doctor and educator, and me through this community and philanthropy. Now we'll focus on making the world a better place for our child and the next generation.

We want to share one experience to start. We've been trying to have a child for a couple of years and have had three miscarriages along the way.

You feel so hopeful when you learn you're going to have a child. You start imagining who they'll become and dreaming of hopes for their future. You start making plans, and then they're gone. It's a lonely experience. Most people don't discuss miscarriages because you worry your problems will distance you or reflect upon you -- as if you're defective or did something to cause this. So you struggle on your own.

In today's open and connected world, discussing these issues doesn't distance us; it brings us together. It creates understanding and tolerance, and it gives us hope.

When we started talking to our friends, we realized how frequently this happened -- that many people we knew had similar issues and that nearly all had healthy children after all.

We hope that sharing our experience will give more people the same hope we felt and will help more people feel comfortable sharing their stories as well.

Our good news is that our pregnancy is now far enough along that the risk of loss is very low and we are very hopeful.

Cilla and our child are both healthy, I'm extremely excited to meet her and our dog Beast has no idea what's coming. In our ultrasound, she even gave me a thumbs up "like" with her hand, so I'm already convinced she takes after me.

We're looking forward to welcoming her into the world and sharing more soon when she's ready to come out and meet everyone!

Since most jobs nowadays, requires you to be on site for more than 8 hours plus the stress that you will be getting from the job and your office mates, it is totally stressful day by day. In line with that, people had been dreaming of a job where they could just rest and lay all day in their bed.




Well, NASA is looking for volunteers who wants to be a part of their "Bed Rest Study". The job is as easy as it sounds. The volunteer just needs to rest and lay down on the bed for 70 days straight and NASA will pay you $18, 000.


The individual is allowed to do stuff while they are in bed. They could use Skype, read books and play games on their smart phones.






This study aims to claim the effects of the micro gravity to the human body. The volunteers on this project are supposed to be the people who have a healthy living, not couch potatoes.





“Once they qualify physically and mentally, we do rigorous physical exercises to test muscle strength and aerobic capacity. We want people who have the physical and psychological characteristics of an astronaut. They should be able to do the kind of activities that astronauts do,” Dr. Cromwell said.

Tekken is one of the most played games worldwide and Filipinos definitely know this game because it can be found at any gaming and arcade center here in the Philippines.


But as the creator of the famous game Tekken revealed the newest character of the game named Josie Rizal, A lot of comments regarding the character came up.

Josie Rizal is a character that will be using Kickboxing and Eskrima as her way of battling among other characters.

 




Are the Filipinos insulted with tekken's newest character, Josie Rizal? Majority of the Filipinos felt great and thankful of having the chance to have a character on the said game, definitely not.


Josie Rizal truly depicted every Filipinos characteristic. She is a Filipino heroine and a tough woman. Josie says "Got this!" before the battle start which is a Filipino trait meaning "Ako ang bahala" in Filipino.

Facebook new Gender Option aside from  Male and Female

Facebook announced that they will be adding options for the gender preferences in the profile of theFacebook users.

Aside from having the traditional Male and Female in the category, they will be adding options such as transgender or intersex.

These option may not be a big deal for most of the Facebook users but for those who are affected by the change it meant so much for them.

Facebook profile had been the identity of one user. It clearly represents each and everyone that uses the site. Thus, it would really make an impact to other people to completely tell in which gender they really belong to.

According to Facebook, different activists groups of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgenders will be the one to work of the thorough list of gender options which can be found inside the "other" category.

This new gender features will be available for US English users. But Facebook will definitely expand theimplementation of the options.

Aside from having the opportunity to choose whether Male, Female or Others. Facebook is also giving the Users the chance to choose which title do they want to be called. They could opt to be referred to as "he/him" or "she/her" or by a neutral "they/their" choice.

Philippines is one of the countries that has a probblem with the electricity especially in the rural places.




An amazing invention was created by siblings Aisa Mijeno, computer engineer and her brother Ralph and and Oscar Bryan Magtibay. They created a special lamp that works with salt solution or a glass of watercombined with two tablespoons of salt.





With that solution, they can have 8 hours of light. The lamp is environment friendly and is safer to use than the usual kerosene-fed lamp used by a lot of Filipinos.




The lamp also runs on sea water so the people who lives near the ocean and seas can gather water from there and pour it to the lamp to have light.








The lamp also has an emergency port where you can charge your smartphones, you just need to plug in the USB Cable.


This project was created to help the less fortunate people who do not have access to electricity. It is a social movement to make life for these people a little less difficult.
