Dogs have very sensitive hearing and they hear firecrackers 10x the intensity of how us humans hear it. Also, we humans understand it, the sound and all, based from society. We also connect it to something cheerful and joyful but our pets, do not.

MANILA, Philippines – An emotional Angelica Jane Yap, popularly known as “Pastillas Girl faced the media to relay a message to her mother’s killer.

According to an article published by ABS-CBN News, Pastillas Girl said in an interview with“Umagang Kay Ganda” on Tuesday, December 1: “Sana nakakatulog siya sa gabi sa ginawa niya.” [I hope he can still sleep at night after what he did.]

The victim, Teresa Yap, also known as “Teteng,” sustained a fatal gunshot wound in the back of her head  on Sunday night, November 29.

Yap together with one of her daughters and a niece were about to eat in a roadside eatery in Tagaytay Street in Caloocan when an unknown man suddenly approached her from behind; shooting her at close range.

The gunman immediately fled the scene of the crime.

Th victim was brought to the Chinese General Hospital but was pronounced dead at 9:20 p.m.

Pastillas Girl went to the hospital from a music video shoot in Bulacan after she learned what happened to her mother.

She described her mother as a strong woman with a pure heart.

“Sa kanya ko namana ‘yung pagiging matapang. Iyakin siya pero talagang pure heart ang meron ang mommy ko,” she said. [I got my strength from her. She easily cries but she has a pure heart.]

She added that she will always remember how her mother defended her against her bashers.

The elder Yap appeared on  “It’s Showtime” on its September 29 episode to defend her daughter.

According to an article written by Chuck Smith for Philippine Star, Yap said although she’s happy that her daughter is given a chance to find love through It’s Showtime’s “Nasaan Ka Mr. Pastilla”segment, she felt hurt over the negative comments hurled against her daughter on social media.

She asked Pastillas Girl’s bashers to get to know her daughter first before judging her.

She said: “Sana, nakikiusap ako, kilalanin muna nila ako. ‘Wag muna nila i-judge ‘yung anak ko. Hindi naman nila kilala ‘yung anak ko. Pinalaki ko nang maayos ang anak ko. Ayoko naman na kung sinu-sinong tao lang ang lalait sa anak ko, maninira sa anak ko.” [I’m asking them to get to know my daughter first before judging her. I brought her up well and I don’t want anyone to just smear her name.]

Mom of 'Pastillas Girl' shot dead

MANILA (1st UPDATE) - The mother of Angelica Yap, also known as "Pastillas Girl," was shot dead by an unknown gunman in Caloocan City, Sunday night.

Teresa Yap, also known as "Teteng," sustained a gunshot wound in the back of the head.

A closed-circuit television (CCTV) camera of Barangay 131 caught the whole incident.

Yap was with one of her daughters and her niece and was about to eat at a roadside eatery in Tagaytay Street in Caloocan when a man suddenly approached her from behind, shooting her at close range.

Yap fell as the gunman fled the scene. Her family and other concerned citizens in the area immediately responded.

She was brought to a hospital but was pronounced dead at 9:20 p.m. Angelica went to the hospital after she learned about the incident.

According to a relative, Tumping Fabian, Teresa received a lot of death threats via text messages saying she would be finished before Christmas.

The messages made her worry but Teresa allegedly ignored the threats.

Police officials and investigators were still gathering information about the incident as of posting. Residents were helping the police and barangay officials in their probe.

‘You’re a virus, we’re the cure’: Anonymous tells ISIS and its supporters

“ISIS, we will hunt you and take down your sites, accounts, emails and expose you. From now on, there is no safe place for you online. You will be treated like a virus and we are the cure,” the Anonymous spokesman told the ISIS in response to their Anonymous is Idiot comment.

The online hacker collective Anonymous dealt a huge blow to the terror group ISIS, whose attacks in Paris had left 129 dead and dozens more injured. Following the attacks, the Anonymous group had declared cyber-war on ISIS members last weekend. It also asked hackers around the world to join its #OpParis operation.

In its declaration of cyber-war, they had vowed to hunt down the social media accounts Daesh members used to coordinate attacks, promote Jihadism, or recruit new members.

As of Thursday morning, a reported 20,000 Islamic State-linked Twitter accounts were taken down claimed to be associated with or operated by members of ISIS. They have also released the names of the accounts, in moves they call part of a “total war” against the terrorist association.

In a new video released by them on YouTube begins with a no-nonsense speech by the spokesperson, all dressed in black and wearing Anonymous’ signature Guy Fawkes mask, delivering a statement:

“Hello, citizens of the world. We are Anonymous. It is time to realize that social media is a solid platform for ISIS’s communication as well as neutering their ideas of terror amongst youth. But at the same time, social media has proved it is an advanced weapon. We must all work together and use social media to eliminate the accounts used by terrorists. More than 20,000 Twitter Accounts belonging to ISIS were just taken down by Anonymous. You can find a list of all the Twitter Accounts in the description. This is only the beginning.

ISIS: We will hunt you, Take down your sites, Accounts, Emails, and expose you…From now on, no safe place for you online…You will be treated like a virus, and we are the cure.

Shortly after this victory, Anonymous published a ‘Guide to Fighting ISIS Online.’ The release of this guide enlisted the talents of amateur hackers worldwide, and the results have been nothing short of phenomenal.

The guide was published in an IRC (internet relay chat) channel by a member of the hacker group along with the following message:

“Instead of sitting idle in the [chat]channel or lurking around and doing nothing, you can benefit greatly from the different tools and guides that have been provided to you,” he wrote.

In response, an ISIS-related social media account released a statement about the Anonymous operation.

A supporter of the group a channel on the messaging app Telegram, says so-called IS are the “owners of the virtual world” and says members should “unite profile pictures on Twitter” with a black shoe print on the French flag.

The account also promised further action online.

Telegram Messenger says it’s blocked 164 public channels “used to spread terrorist propaganda” and shut more down earlier this week.

Telegram founder Pavel Durov wrote on Twitter: “To media covering us this week – Telegram channels are public broadcasts. They are the opposite of private chats. Please don’t mix the two.

“Our policy is simple: privacy is paramount. Public channels, however, have nothing to do with privacy. ISIS public channels will be blocked.”

Following the attacks that took place at Paris that left a shocking 129 dead, Anonymous has decided to take charge and put an end to the malicious activities of these terrorists with the only way they know best; hacking social media accounts. According to the hacking group, then have commenced an onslaught that have allowed them to shut down over 5,000 Twitter accounts who are in favor of ISIS.

In addition, Anonymous has started to reach out to the masses and have begun to encourage them to search Twitter’s database and report anyone supporting ISIS. People who want to report the accounts belonging to the extremist group can pass on the message via the group’s new website called “#opIceISIS.” Currently, the site has been protected by a password, but it was available early Tuesday.

During the course of Monday evening, the hacking group also managed to collect a whole list of Twitter accounts and websites belonging to ISIS and have claimed to have already taken down some of those sites. Allegedly, they have leaked personal information about suspected ISIS members, posting their names and physical addresses online, which should prove useful if the authorities act upon vigilantly.

The crusade of Anonymous has been ongoing during the month of January, and since then, they have been able to take down nearly 800 Twitter accounts and 50 email addresses associated with the extremist group. However, shortly after the attack, the hacking group has scaled its hacking activities to a whole new level, which have proven to be much more fruitful than even before.

With these activities rising, ISIS might have effectively been barred from sending its messages across social media channels, but it is also high time that Facebook and Twitter joined hands in order to take these accounts down in order to increase efficiency.

Mijeno owns the birth of her project to her first-hand experience and a close encounter with the Butbut tribe in Buscalan, Kalinga during an immersion in 2011. As shared in an interview in Tech In Asia, she shared, “People did not have access to electricity and had to walk 12 hours to reach Bontoc, a town about 50 kilometres away, to get kerosene for their fuel-based lamps.” She even added that “Seventy percent of the earth’s surface is saltwater and we still rely on other expensive means that are dependent on geography, climate, and fuel.”

Being an initial direct dialogue campaigner (DDC) in Greenpeace Philippines, a non-government organization, the lack of financial tenure left her no choice to but to career jump to her alma mater De La Salle University Lipa in 2010. Her career move finally paid off when she won in the technopreneurship bootcamp held by Ideaspace Foundation. This marked the birth of Sustainable Alternative Lighting (SALt).

 

As ordinary as it may appear, SALt is like no other lamps. It can actually run even without batteries or plug-ins. With the help of salt and water, the magic lamp is able to produce 90 lumens, which are equivalent to seven candles lit up or the brightness of a low-LED bulb! But wait, there’s more! This also comes along with a USB slot where you could charge your mobile phone. However, since it is still a work in progress, you would have to choose if you will use it either for lighting or charging—at least for now. After all, the future is not so far away, right?

So how on earth did Mijeno come up with this? Simple. Everything she knew, she learned it from her high school chemistry class saying, “If you did the lemon-battery experiment, that’s basically it. Two different metals submerged in electrolytes will produce electricity. For us, we used saltwater.” She also added, “It is an open science… so I will not be surprised if there are existing similar technologies developed out there.”

Based from the Philippine Institute for Development Studies 2013, Philippines alone has 16 million families belonging to the marginalized sector. It is for this very reason that Mijeno decided to design something that will minimize, if not eliminate the usage of kerosene, a number one indoor air pollution contributor. A safer and more holistic living environment now awaits rural areas since longer hours for livelihood and study sessions for children are provided.

Although targeting the poor as a viable market does not promise an increase on social enterprises and additional innovations in the future, Mijeno confessed the difficulty of marketing the said product. “There is a certain degree of difficulty when it comes to achieving financials enough to sustain and to scale a social enterprise and/or a hardware startup,” she said. “It is very difficult to find a middle point wherein we feel that we are not selling it for too much and also not underselling it,” she explained.

Although the US$35-worth lamp (PHP1,570) runs an estimated 10 to 11 years lifespan, Mijeno envisions to prolong its vitality and durability by making it both water- and shock-proof. Maximizing the number of lumens to 350 is also among the future goals. “Considering its use, the initial price of the lamp trumps the sustaining the cost of battery and fuel-based lighting,” she added.

With the thousands of promising products shaping the standard of living of society, the need for more pacesetters to dominate the world of geniuses is highly encouraged.

Alveel was sick during that time and she was with nobody so she decided to call a local fast food restaurant to order some food. During the call, she also mentioned if the delivery boy could possibly bring her some paracetamol because she was not feeling well.

When it comes to traffic violation, motorist has the rights to ask a question and be questioned by the officer in-charge. Some vehicle owner or driver are afraid because of the traffic enforcer being abusive even thou you didn't commit any violation at all. They will ask you to pull over with no reason, give you a ticket and sometimes confiscate your driver's license and the worst thing, they will force to tow your vehicle.

But the video below wasn't the ordinary scenario that you usually see when there's a motorist complaining about the violation. There is this one police officer named "SPO2. Sambiano" who's assisting the traffic situation and the complainant that has been accosted by the said officer due to traffic cause.

He was one semester away from graduating but he didn’t have money. So his friends did this!

Facebook user Jan Ray Parayno was a semester away from graduating from college—but he didn’t have the means to pay for his tuition fee.


His parents separated more than decade ago, and they have been financially struggling to keep him in school. His father was working as a foreman in Saudi Arabia, while his mother worked as a seamstress to make ends meet.



But an unexpected twist of fate happened. His father got into an accident and wasn’t able to work well. Their finances started to plunge, and there wasn’t enough money for his tuition’s down payment. he wasn’t worried at first, knowing that his school allows students to get their schedules before paying anything—thinking this would give his parents enough time to raise money. To his horror, the school required payment before getting his schedule first. He felt hopeless.



Fortunately for him, he had his friends who were willing to do anything to help him up. One of his friends, Aldrin, realized he had excess cash from his tuition fee and decided to give it to his friend. Aldrin then asked the others if they had any extra, and were willing to help their friend, Jan Ray.  One by one, his friends Mark, JL, ‘Totoy’, Nikko, Dong, Rick, Raffy and ‘Chuckling’ gave their extra cash. They were able to raise P1,665—just enough to get him through the down payment.

Jan Ray was so overwhelmed by his friends’ actions that he wasn’t able to say anything— but all his friends knew how thankful he was. He shares this inspiring story on Facebook, which slowly attracted many people willing to help him too.

This Filipina Might Be The First One To Get A Job On Facebook After Mark Zuckerberg Shared Her Story!

On Tuesday, the CEO of Social Media giant (Facebook), Mark Zuckerberg, have shared an inspiring story on his own official account of a young Filipina woman on a small island where the only available job for them was to collect seashells was then later earned a degree in computer science through the free internet services Internet.org.

The woman was Riza Tachado hailed in Malalison Island in Culasi, Antique, travels on a boat everyday just to get to the mainland Antique to attend to school.

However, whilst writing her thesis, a powerful typhoon hit their little island so she wasn’t able to attend her classes for several weeks.

But this did not stop her from her desire to finish her studies and rather used the advantages of the free internet service Facebook is offering on her mobile.

I have decided to run for Vice President in the May 2016 elections.

All these talks of teaming up with certain leading presidential candidates have been mere speculations.

I flew to Davao City on Wednesday and consulted with Mayor Rodrigo Duterte. He was gracious enough to promise me his support should I decide to run for Vice President. I too will support Mayor Duterte if and when he runs for President.

Regarding Vice President Jejomar Binay, I was invited to be his Vice-Presidential candidate. There were initial talks between our supporters. But any team up with the Vice President must be rooted on a shared vision for our country, a common platform of government as well as political perspectives.

Unfortunately it would be difficult for me to tame our political differences.

For one thing, I believe that elected officials have an obligation to our people to help change the course of our nation’s history by banishing the politics of personality which to me is one of the primary causes why our country today has become a soft state where the rich become richer, the poor become poorer, graft and corruption is endemic, the drug menace pervades, injustice is the norm and government incompetence is accepted.

Consequently, I have decided to put my political fortune in the hands of the Filipino people. I humbly ask them to judge whether or not I am worthy of their trust to be Vice President on the strength of my performance as a public servant in the last 26 years: first as former Vice Governor and Governor of Ilocos Norte, then as Representative of the 2nd District of Ilocos Norte and, finally, as Senator of the country.

Gabriela: It’s Showtime Seems to be Pimping Pastillas Girl

Angelica Jane Yap, or Pastillas Girl, is It’s Showtime‘s answer to Eat Bulaga‘s AlDub and she is slowly rising to stardom. As her segment is gaining popularity because of her recipe to making pastillas mixed with comments about a bad breakup, critics are concerned with how the show is introducing her to various men.

According to a letter the Gabriela Women’s Party sent to the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board and It’s Showtime‘s executive producer Mark Rejano, they are receiving complaints about the show’s alleged pimping of Yap to suitors.

According to the letter:

We wish to inform you that we have been receiving complaints regarding exploitation of women in relation to your serye “Pastillas Girl” since it aired this month in Showtime. Concerned citizens wrote us and tagged us in their Twitter posts alleging that the show seems to be pimping the said Pastillas Girl to various interested men.

As part of the letter, Gabriela mentioned its advocacy of the protection and advancement of women’s rights, and believes that the competition between the two TV networks shouldn’t come at the expense of women. They also gave It’s Showtime‘s executive producer the chance to respond to the allegations publicly.

Rejano has not aired the network’s side as of publishing.

Alden Richards Emotionally Cried As He Was Singing For Yaya Dub

All the AlDub Fans are waiting for the moment that Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza will finally meet each other.

Now, Lola Nidora finally allowed the Pambansang Bae' Alden Richards to court Yaya Dub in their mansion but she has 3 conditions.

First, Alden and Maine must keep the distance of 1 foot away. Second, he must bring Chicharon for Lola Nidora and the last one is he must sing the song 'God Gave Me You' for Yaya Dub.

Since this day is declared as the National Pabebe Wave Day, Alden decided to fulfill all the conditions that Lola Nidora gave to him.

He sang the song 'God Gave Me You' and while he was singing something very unexpected happened. AldenRichards suddenly burst into tears as he was feeling all his emotions along with the song.

He was not the only one who cried during the performance. The people claim that they were moved by the feelings that was delivered through Alden's song.

ALDUB: HAPPY, HAPPY DATE!

Today is the 2nd date of Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza a.k.a Yaya Dub.  As instructed Alden in his best foot forward behavior as he enters Lola Nidora's mansion, he even removed his shoes and he brought foods including the "Chicharon" that Lola Nidora requested.

He also brought flowers to the De Explorer sisters, and they welcomed Alden with open arms to their home, the hosts show Alden their family pictures, and Lola Nidora gave him a short tour of their house.

Lola Nidora finally called Yaya Dub, Alden was so excited, nervous and sweaty when they saw each other, it was unexplainable and they can't look at each other.

The one foot distance rule between Yaya Dub and Alden Richards was strictly implemented and there is some incident that they violated it.

The date was a success and 20million twits were recorded after the show, but the twits will continue up to 12 midnight.  Congratulation to Eat Bulaga and to the Fans of ALDUB.

The misery of most Filipino Internet users may finally come to an end when Telstra, Australia’s biggest telecom company enters the Philippines in the very near future.

Of nineteen Asian countries, the Philippines ranked second with the slowest Internet speed at 3.64Mbps, only ahead of Afghanistan with 2.52Mbps. All other 17 countries are far ahead of the Philippines.

Communications experts said the problem with the country’s disappointing Internet speed is because of the lack of better competitors. Globe, PLDT/Smart, and Sun Cellular on the other hand blame the government for complicated and expensive process in building structures like transmitters and antennas.

Among the country’s providers, PLDT is the worst of all. Globe is better than Smart, then followed by Sun cellular.

Ibtimes.com.au reported that Telstra is aiming to partner with the San Miguel Corporation – the country’s biggest company.

There is no exact date on when the business operation will be started, but Bloombergreported that Telstra is currently on talks with San Miguel, and is willing to invest 5.75 billion Pesos (UD$123 million).

GRONINGEN, Holland – Remember those sleepyheads during our school days? Who fall asleep on top of the school desk? Those drowsy students who’d been caught by teachers might have been asked to step out of the room to stand in the corridor or taken to the prefect of discipline. However, one teacher from Holland thought of something truly different as a sanction.

A teacher from a school in Groningen was recorded in a video footage picking up a fire extinguisher and spraying it to a student who was dozing off while a class was ongoing, TMZhas reported.

The less than 30 seconds video features a boy resting with his head on the desk; who couldn’t be roused despite attempts by his friends to wake him up.

On the video, the teacher is seen standing in front of the class and conducting his lessons when he suddenly appears to spot the sleeping student.

The teacher approaches the student as he starts screaming; ignoring the other student who was bent on filming the incident. The teacher then reaches for the fire extinguisher, and much to the surprise of everyone there, he sprayed at the sleeping student – still fuming mad.

Online users reacted differently with regards to the reaction of the teacher; with some of them saying that the student deserves what he got.

“Seems like a reasonable response,” said online user ravishing from Cleveland, as reported byDaily Mail.

“Good one for the teacher,” said online user MarmooUK, while C. Meyer said, “Great disciplinarian! All teachers should do this.”

However, there are online users who criticized the teacher’s action.

Online user jr23 said, “Cannot tell what type of extinguisher but if its power that’s not good for someone’s lungs, the teachers(sic) an idiot as was the person who cannot use a video camera phone correctly, if it going to news or internet turn the camera just like your TV or computer screen.”

Footage shot personally by gunman Vester Flanagan, AKA Bryce Williams, and uploaded to social media, shows him aiming a gun at WDBJ reporter Alison Parker in very close proximity to her and cameraman Adam Ward.

In the video, Flanagan walks up to the news crew unbeknownst to them as they film a report, waiting for about 30 seconds before he opens fire on them.

The graphic video was found on Flanagan’s Facebook page, which has since been taken down. Other uploads of the video have also been removed by Youtube and Facebook.

The shooting is believed to have been motivated by racism.

One of the hottest controversial issues on the Philippines nowadays is the legal opening of packages from our OFW around the worlds which makes them get angry and annoyed because of the said policy of our government.

The BOC or Bureau of Customs earned a lot of negative opinions and comments from the Filipino people especially on our fellow OFW brothers and sisters. The opening of the packages is a very big disappointment to the receiver of the packages which was supposed to be delivered to them safely.

Even identical twins can’t fool the facial recognition in Windows 10

Microsoft’s new biometric authentication is too smart for lookalikes.

Just in case you missed it, Microsoft launched Windows 10 a little over a month ago. (If you’re wondering why you missed Windows 9, that’s because it never happened.) One of the celebrated features of the new operating system is called Windows Hello, which Microsoft bills as a more personal way of logging onto Windows 10 devices.

Instead of simply signing into Windows with a password, Windows Hello beefs up user security by letting you use your face, fingerprint, or iris to authenticate yourself, provided your PC’s hardware supports the software requirements. While fingerprints or irises might be hard to fake, we’ve probably all seen enough dodgy facial recognition fails to make us think twice before trusting our user login to a webcam. Windows Hello requires the use of Intel’s RealSense camera, but is it really secure enough to keep lookalikes out?

To test the theory and see how reliable Windows Hello really is when it comes to identifying unique faces, The Australian tested the feature with six pairs of identical twins, enlisting volunteers through the Australian Twins Registry (ATR).

It’s a valid experiment: we may think of twins as making up only a small amount of the population, but it’s a sizeable minority. According to the ATR, one in 40 people is a twin in Australia, and about one-quarter to one-third of those pairs is identical. This makes about 1 percent of the population identical twins, so if Microsoft is rolling out facial recognition as an enterprise-grade security feature, it deserves more than a little scrutiny.

The Australian took six sets of identical twins, with one twin from each pair registering a Windows account on a Lenovo Thinkpad notebook and setting up facial recognition as a method for logging in. In testing, the system never mistakenly let a twin access their sibling’s account, although the software did experience a few glitches when identifying valid login attempts.

“In the end, there were some cases of Windows Hello taking its time to identify a twin, but no case of it wrongly granting access. That’s a win for Intel and Microsoft,”writes The Australian’s Chris Griffith.

“It could distinguish between us two quite easily,” said Miriam Jeffrey, who tested the feature along her twin sister, Annabelle. “It’s a little surprising, I thought it would have failed, but no, it was really good, it was really quick.”

Interestingly, the system can be partially fooled if a pair of twins used both their faces when initially setting up the feature; later on, either face can then be used to sign in to the account (which seems reasonable, when you think about it).

According to Microsoft, the Windows Hello system and the Intel RealSense camera – which uses three separate lens systems to detect heat and depth – provide a false acceptance rate of less than one in 100,000. If that’s not good enough for you, you can always stick to conventional passwords. But if you do, just try to make them hard to hack. And, of course, steer clear of “PASSWORD” and “12345678”.

Balikbayan Boxes from OFW's was seen being sold in a local market!

In line with the recent issues regarding the implementation of taxes on Balikbayan Boxes and the random inspections that the Bureau of Customs claims, a report was seen by a concerned citizen regarding some balikbayan boxes that are being sold in Paranaque City.

A forwarding company is now allegedly accused of selling the balikbayan boxes to some businessmen. The price ranges from P5,000-P6,000 depending on the size of the package.

The owners of the boxes claim that they have no idea that their boxes are now being sold. They were still expecting it to be delivered.

A market stall in Silverio compound in Paranaque City sells the goods inside the packages that came from Saudi Arabia. Some of the balikbayan boxes are still unopened. Some still have the name and address of the recipient.

The Department of Trade and Industry warns the customers about the things that they buy. They should make sure that it is legit.

The officials of Arup Associates for the Ballymore development group claim that they wanted to have a pool that connect 2 10-story buildings.

This is the first pool that would give you a clear vision of everything underneath its surface. It was called'Sky Pool'.

According to Sean Mulryan the CEO of Ballymore, "My vision for the sky pool stemmed from a desire to push the boundaries in the capability of construction and engineering. I wanted to do something that had never been done before."

The pool will add glamour to the estate either residential or commercial. Each apartment would most likely to cost more than $940, 000. The pool will be finished in 2018.

My Medals Are For You, Tatay: Emotional Letter Of Valedictorian Son to “Kargador” Dad

An open letter of a Valedictorian Son thanking his father who is a “kargador” (longshoreman or porter who delivers goods to the wet market) and says that the person who should be wearing his medals are his father for his hard work.



 



Rough translation: This is my dad. He is a porter in the wet market. He is a great father and a good friend. 

He cried when that photo was taken. It’s because I handed to him what he worked hard for. The medals he should rightfully wear because that is what I worked hard for to say thank you to him.

13-Year-Old Girl Allegedly Harassed Inside A School Restroom. Man Is Now Being Hunted!

There had been a lot of rape cases, but this is by far the most disturbing!

A man is now being hunted by the police officers in Novaliches, Quezon City after allegedly harassing a 13-year-old girl in the restroom!

Authorities claim, the 13-year-old victim just accompanied her younger sibling for her make-up class at the San Agustin Elementary School. 

However, the suspect was an outsider who just entered the school to talk to the principal but when she reached the 4th floor of the  school building, he then allegedly threatened the 13-year-old girl with a knife to force her into the restroom.

A group later then found them inside the restroom, but this guy was able to expect. He was even seen on a CCTV footage running towards the exit of the school!

WATCH: Brawl breaks out on LRT Carriedo platform

An incident took place at the LRT station at Carriedo yesterday as shown in the video below.

The video, which was taken by a bystander and started to get viral today, shows two men trading punches and kicks as fellow passengers fled. Apparently, a commuter (in black shirt) got mad and started taunting the young man (in grey). The rest of the commuters in the train just minded their own business. The scuffle took place at the LRT Carriedo station.

Their fight was broken up by a man (in yellow) who was later hailed by netizens for taking swift action before both parties were ejected by a security guard.

The video was posted online by PalaBuzz Feed on their Facebook page.

Windows 10 can seek out pirated software

Microsoft recently updated its EULA for Windows 10, noting that the operating system can seek out and potentially disable any pirated software, like games, running on your PC. The new clause in question is found under section 7b of the EULA, which says that Microsoft may check your software at any time and download updates or make configuration changes.

“We may automatically check your version of the software and download software updates or configuration changes, including those that prevent you from accessing the Services, playing counterfeit games, or using unauthorized hardware peripheral devices. You may also be required to update the software to continue using the Services”.

This means illegally acquired software, like games, could be rendered useless by Microsoft’s Windows 10 updates. It can also disable “unauthorized hardware peripheral devices”, though it isn’t clear exactly what would be considered ‘unauthorized At present, it isn’t immediately clear if the EULA pertains to Microsoft’s own software, which can be acquired from the Windows Store, or all software in general. However, given the amount of coverage this topic is getting we will likely see Microsoft step in to clear things up with a statement.

Android M's name is Marshmallow, and it's version 6.0

Google went with the obvious choice

Google has revealed what the M in Android M stands for: Marshmallow. The Android 6.0 update, set for release this fall, was first previewed at the company's I/O conference in late May. But as it's done before, Google held off on announcing the full name to build anticipation around the software. It's safe to say the company went with the obvious choice. Sorry, M&M's fans. Along with finalizing the name, Google has also released the finished version of its Android 6.0 SDK and a third (and final) Marshmallow software preview that can be loaded on Nexus devices. Android Marshmallow includes a simpler approach to permissions (while giving users more granular control over what information apps can access), Google's new Android Pay mobile wallet platform, USB Type-C support, and a number of tweaks and improvements throughout the operating system. It succeeds Android 5.0 Lollipop, which brought significant user interface and visual changes to the software last year.

It's believed that Google is working on two new Nexus smartphones that will be used to showcase Android 6.0 Marshmallow — one from Huawei, and a Nexus 5 sequel from LG that leaked over the weekend. Both phones are likely to include built-in fingerprint scanners, as Android 5.2 now natively supports the security measure as a way to log into apps.

Leaked Fallout 4 Gameplay Video Emerges on Pornhub

Amateur Gamescom footage takes refuge on adult video site amid Bethesda takedowns.

A secretly filmed recording of Fallout 4 gameplay has been published on the adult video website Pornhub, amid a game of cat-and-mouse between Bethesda's legal team and those who want to spread the footage online.

Low-quality amateur video of the post-apocalypse RPG was captured, against Bethesda's wishes, during a behind-closed-doors demonstration at Gamescom. The off-screen picture is partially obscured by other journalists in attendance, but nevertheless shows new glimpses of Fallout 4's baseline gameplay mechanics.

Snippets of the video show the game's unnamed hero mowing down a horde of zombies, and aiming through sights on an automatic weapon, then later, accessing computer terminals, lock-picking, and interacting with his Pip-Boy.

Since the seven-minute video first emerged, Bethesda's copyright and legal team has embarked on a takedown operation, with the video being pulled multiple times from sites such as YouTube, as well as other file-sharing websites.

However, for reasons that are not clear, the video has not been removed from Pornhub. GameSpot's editorial team has decided against linking to it.

A community of Fallout 4 enthusiasts, determined to spread the footage, have amassed various links on the Sugarbombed forum. Fans eager to see the new gameplay have been warned that some websites, claiming to offer Fallout 4 footage to download, may in fact be spreading computer viruses and spyware.

The Fallout 4 release date has been set for November 10 across Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. It is expected to offer more than 400 hours of content for its most dedicated fans.
