This Filipina Might Be The First One To Get A Job On Facebook After Mark Zuckerberg Shared Her Story!

On Tuesday, the CEO of Social Media giant (Facebook), Mark Zuckerberg, have shared an inspiring story on his own official account of a young Filipina woman on a small island where the only available job for them was to collect seashells was then later earned a degree in computer science through the free internet services Internet.org.

The woman was Riza Tachado hailed in Malalison Island in Culasi, Antique, travels on a boat everyday just to get to the mainland Antique to attend to school.

However, whilst writing her thesis, a powerful typhoon hit their little island so she wasn’t able to attend her classes for several weeks.

But this did not stop her from her desire to finish her studies and rather used the advantages of the free internet service Facebook is offering on her mobile.

My phone became a classroom to communicate with my groupmates. We used Facebook through Internet.org to write our thesis. -Riza

Meanwhile, Riza may have the big-chance of landing a good job on Facebook after a certain comment from Renee Gertjejansen Briscoe emerged suggesting Mark Zuckerberg to hire her.
Unexpectedly, the co-founder of the leading social media platform on this phenomenon have replied saying that it is a ‘Good Idea’.

This is an amazing story about Riza -- a young woman on a small island where the only job for women was collecting seashells, yet she used Internet.org to earn a degree in computer science.Being connected means having opportunity. We're going to connect the whole world so one day everyone can achieve their full human potential -- just like Riza.
