Tarzan is Elsa and Anna's Little Brother, According to 'Frozen' Director

There have are tons of fan theories about Frozen, but the one that came out today from one of Frozen's directors just might BLOW. YOUR. MIND. In an interview with MTV news, director Chris Buck said he believes that Tarzan (yes, THAT Tarzan) is Elsa and Anna's little brother.

But wait — HOW would that make any sense at all, you ask? We were super confused about it too, but the explanation he gave to Frozen's co-director, Jen Lee, is actually kind of amazing:

I said, “Of course Anna and Elsa’s parents didn’t die. Yes, there was a shipwreck, but they were at sea a little bit longer than we think they were because the mother was pregnant, and she gave birth on the boat, to a little boy. They get shipwrecked, and somehow they really washed way far away from the Scandinavian waters, and they end up in the jungle. They end up building a tree house and a leopard kills them, so their baby boy is raised by gorillas ... So in my little head, Anna and Elsa’s brother is Tarzan — but on the other side of that island are surfing penguins, to tie in a non-Disney movie, Surf’s Up. That’s my fun little world."

Um, holy sh*t? That actually is kind of a pretty bad-ass story, and I kind of want to see that Tarzan prequel, with a follow-up movie where Anna and Elsa meet their long-lost bro. Wait, THAT'S WHAT THIS IS ABOUT, ISN'T IT?! BUCK JUST WANTS ME TO THINK THAT SOUNDS LIKE A COOL AF MOVIE SO HE CAN MAKE IT! All right, fine. I'm in.

BUT NEXT TIME IF YOU WANNA MAKE IT JUST MAKE IT AND DON'T TEASE US ABOUT IT. Phew. Glad I got that off my chest. Now I'm gonna go write some sweet Bug's Life theories that the bugs were actually all in Sid from Toy Story's backyard THE WHOLE TIME!

What do you think of this director's theory? A cool tie-in to two Disney worlds, or just a director trying to make us re-watch Tarzan, which he also COINCIDENTALLY directed? Let us know in the comments!
